陳玉蓮信奉「以戒為師」，但不避葷腥。「茹素了幾年，身體支撐不住。佛陀托缽吃十方，從無揀飲擇食。西藏的喇嘛搵兩棵菜都艱難，不吃肉吃什麼？比起有些人打着宗教旗號其實為了減肥美容，在奢華的餐廳吃極品素食，誰更似跟隨佛陀？」

陳玉蓮：「以前人幫我，好應該現在我幫人，但這並非主要目標，人生並非追求成績。常說學佛，但佛陀首先示範了他是不稱職丈夫——拋妻棄子出家，示範了不稱職兒子——拒絕繼承王位導致國家滅亡，這些人倫道德都不惜違反了，因為他想人學他的更大目標——超脫輪迴。」

2012-10-17 Idy Chan attended some event in Shenzhen with Lawrence Ng 吳啟華. Only found few blurry photos on Weibo, and heard that Idy even performed a song on stage, and it’s Teresa Teng’s 鄧麗君 trademark song “The Moon Represents My Heart 月亮代表我的心”.

    I really love the first picture of Miss Idy sitting on the edge of the sofa. She looked so beautiful and young.(^^)
