Looks like they’re wrapping up the filming in HK, and they will film in Shanghai next month. Also, they already finished filming the ending. From weibo posts, it’s going to be dramatic with some sad stories… Hm.. And the preview trailer, there’s lots of smacking and crying for most characters.. hic hic hic 🙁

Note: Interesting facts that I’ve learned since seeing this photo shared by Mary Hon. His name is To Yin-Gor (杜燕歌), doesn’t ring a bell at all, right? Well, he’s pairing with Idy in a Taiwanese series called “紅粉佳人” (roughly translated “Pink Lady”). In real life, he’s Mary Hon’s husband, and currently filming TVB “War and Beauty II”

至於同日拍攝外景被爆樽「見紅」的吳卓羲，透露戲中暗戀朱晨麗，但最後愛人卻另嫁他人，更說：「雖然個樽係糖膠造，但係畀人硬扑落去都痛！好在我都頂得住。」難得新年流流「見紅」也沒所謂，認真百無禁忌!

[Translation extracted from JayneStars] Despite the Lunar New Year holiday, Damian Lau (劉松仁) had to film TVB drama, Prominent Family < 名媛望族>. Despite being accompanied by “5 wives” on set, Damian did not feel better. Producer Chong Wai Kin (莊偉健) especially prepared a sweet lotus seed and lily bud dish for the cast and crew; Idy Chan (陳玉蓮) and Tavia Yeung (楊怡) fully enjoyed the dessert.
After Catch Me Now < 原來愛上賊>, Idy Chan and Damian Lau resumed their partnership in Prominent Family, in which Idy portrayed Damian’s second wife. Due to the complex character, Idy needed to warm up initially for the role; however, she became more immersed in her performance recently. Even Damian felt that Idy’s interpretation lent a unique temperament to her character.
Damian’s “fourth wife,” Tavia Yeung, wrapped up filming at 3 AM last night. Despite the late hour, Tavia and Idy ate the sweet lotus seed dessert at the studio and got along well together [despite their characters’ rivalry]. Tavia took the opportunity to learn acting tips from Idy.

Damian Lau is very ‘lucky’ in TVB new pre-modern series The Prominent Family. Aside from pairing up with Idy Chan once again, Damian will also have four other wives — Mary Hon, Elena Kong, Tavia Yeung and JJ Jia. The age ranges from young to old. He laughed and said he can highlight the spirit of brotherhood in Chinese men through this role. As for luck of having so many wives, he laughed: “It’s not a benefit to me! It’s a benefit to them!”
Damian said his collaboration with Idy this time around sparked more than last time: “Because we have a bed scene, I have one with all my wives. Also my role has large emotional variations, I will be crying crazily!” Idy laughed and said in reality, Damian should find a young girl to moisten himself. He immediately replied: “Can just dream about it! Not necessary, I can’t handle it!”
Filming 40-episode long series, both Damian and Idy mentally prepare for lack of sleep.
